Where we are right now

We have been in the process of moving our family. We are downsizing. We are working on being debt free. We are in need of making our living situation more manageable for our family and our special needs. I have not been on here for that reason and the simple fact that I am technically challenged. I have great intentions, so I will figure this stuff out, but be patient with me, please. Might have to have someone come over to show me more of the ropes once we get settled.

Early Gardening

This afternoon, my 10 year old daughter Marissa and I planted our first onion sets in our organic raised garden box. I purchased them online at Brown's Omaha Plant Farms, Inc. www.bopf.com I already made an inquisitive phone call, briefly read the instructions, and went to town getting them into their new home. The temperature outside was dropping quickly and I wanted to get back inside. I have been extra cold this winter and it's hard for me to warm up! We only had a few too many onion plants, so I plopped them in some random spots for green onions later. I hope they are easy growers as I don't predict that I will have too much time for gardening this spring. That is, if they grow...I forgot to water them!
